Swap & Sell
A few simple rules.
Buy, sell and give things away with Coffee & County subscribers in Sioux County.
Keep it local. You and the item must be in Sioux County.
Be honest. Post one item at a time. Use real photos and describe its condition. You can have up to 5 active listings.
Keep contact details out of the description. Buyers can use “Message seller.” You can also choose to show your phone number.
Mark it sold when it’s gone. Listings stay up for 30 days. Use the private link in your email to edit, renew or remove yours.
Your first listing needs approval. We check it before it goes live. We may remove posts that break these rules.
Posting or messaging signs you up for our newsletter. Coffee & County is free and arrives Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Unsubscribe anytime. Your listing stays up.
Selling as a business? Dealers and people who buy items to resell need a business account. Rentals, auctions and services are paid listings.
Please don’t post
- Guns, ammunition or live animals.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products or prescription drugs.
- Adult items, recalled products or anything illegal.
- Tickets priced above their original face value.
- Vehicles without a VIN (vehicle identification number) in the description.
Stay safe
- Meet in a public place in daylight, or bring someone with you.
- Pay in person. Never send money, deposits or gift cards ahead of time.
- Be wary of anyone who can't meet, wants to ship, or asks for a code sent to your phone.
- Think a listing is a scam? Tap “Report this listing.”
A few things to know
You arrange the sale. We provide the board. We don’t inspect items or verify buyers and sellers. Paid listing fees are refunded only if we reject the listing.
Your email isn’t public. Messages go through the site. Sellers see the buyer’s email so they can reply; replying shares the seller’s email with the buyer.
We keep the details you submit. That includes your listing, name, email and optional phone number. We also keep a scrambled version of your internet address to help stop spam.
We remove location data from photos. If you delete a listing, it leaves the board right away. Its photos are deleted within 90 days.
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Read more on our privacy page.
